Congratulations to Derbyshire’s Veterans Sporting team of Geoff Farmer – 81/100, Andy Read – 75/100 and Keith Wood – 56/100 on winning the Bronze medal on 156/200 at the West Midlands Inter Counties Sporting held at Doveridge on 10th September. The Ladies team of Sandy Greener- 63/100 and Andrea Pinnock – 53/100 finished fo21687740_1464534960300908_5357471833600013960_nurth on 116/200. The Senior 1 team finished in equal fifth on 395/500, and Senior 2 finished seventh on 388/100. Team High Gun was Max Small on 83/100. In the Team High Guns shoot off Mark Fisher finished 3rd on 24/30.Well done to all Team members that took part in this event.


Well done to the F.I.T.A.S.C Team of Tony Bott 88/100, Andy Armstrong 86/100, Adam Cork 85/100, Julian Brockley 82/100, Keith Roe 80/100, and Peter Brockley 78/100 who finished joint 3rd on 421/500 at the West Midlands Inter Counties held at Garlands on 5/6th August.

The FITASC County Championship was held at Kegworth on 9th July.  County Champion was Adam Cork on 117/120, followed by Enda Ford on 106/120 and Tristan Yeomans on 103/120. Veterans Champion was John Dunne on 112/120, followed by Andy Read on 99/120 and Adrian Hope on 96/120. Well done to you all.


The 4th Sporting team selection was held at Old Glossop Shooting Ground on 2nd July. Joint top scorers in the Seniors were Tom Miller and Andy Armstrong on 89/ 100 followed by Ryan Caesar on 85/100 and Andy Roe on 82/100. In the Veterans Adrian Hope was top scorer on 85/100 followed by Andy Read on 80/100.

The 2nd Sporting team selection was held at Kegworth S.G on 28/29th May. Top scorer in the Seniors was Nick Hendrick on 109/120, followed by Tom Miller and Andy Armstrong on 104/120, Julian Brockley on 102/120 and Tony Bott on 101/120.  Veterans top scorer was Keith Roe on 99/120, followed by Andy Reid on 97/120 and Geoff Farmer on 92/120.  Top Lady was Sandy Greener on 75/120 and top scoring Junior was Reece Lofley on 80/120.

The 3rd Sporting team selection was held at Oakedge S.G on 25th June. Top scorers in the Seniors was Max Small and Adam Cork both on 94/100, closely followed by Anthony Cork on 93/100, Ian Platts on 90/100 and Simon Roe on 89/100.  Top scorer in the Veterans was Andy Read on 89/100, followed by Adrian Hope on 85/100 and Geoff Farmer on 82/100.  Sandy Greener was the top scorer in the Ladies on 76/100.


Congratulations to Adam Cork on being selected for the England Sporting Team for the ICTSF World Sporting Championship at Kelmarsh on 15/16th July. Also to Caroline Povey on being selected for Great Britain for the European Championship in Baku from 21st July to 4th August. Well done to you both.

Nick Hendrick was the top scorer in the Seniors on 95/100, followed by Andy Roe on 90/100, Max Small on 87/100, with Simon Roe and Josh Read both on 85/100. In the Veterans Andy Read on 90/100 was the top scorer followed by Adrian Hope on 85/100 and Geoff Farmer on 84/100. Ladies top scorer was Sandy Greener on 57/100, and top of the Juniors was T Ellis on 58/100.
