On Sunday October 7th 2012, the National Inter Counties DTL Championship was held at Southern Counties Shooting Ground.  Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, only two Derbyshire DTL team members were able to make the trip down south, so even though there were only a few counties represented, Derbyshire were unable to challenge for any team honors.  In pleasant, sunny conditions with a slight breeze and some tricky targets, Ian Roper took The Avenue Plant & Quarry Services Cup for Derbyshire High Gun, closely followed by Andy Wragg.  Thanks to all at southern Counties for their help and for a well organized event, despite the relatively poor turnout.
